After a tumultuous couple of years, Page Six has learned that Grimes, the chart-topping musician and mother to three of Elon Musk’s children, is returning to music.

We’re told the “Genesis” hitmaker kicked off her comeback with a last-minute, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it guest performance at Coachella in Indio, Calif., on Sunday.

She performed the brand-new track “Sign From God” that she co-wrote with Cobrah during the Swedish singer-songwriter’s set, we’re told — Grimes’ first time onstage in over a year.

“It’s her first [performance] in a long time. It was a last-minute surprise,” says a source. “The song is from a forthcoming Grimes project and more to come in 2026.”

Her last performance at the festival, in 2024, was something of a debacle. She was left screaming in frustration onstage after a series of technical problems.

Our source said she’s made a few live appearances since that incident, but “she’s been offline working on a new project. More will emerge soon!” they said.

Meanwhile, she’s been knee-deep in legal dramas with her billionaire baby-daddy.

The “Oblivion” singer has three kids — X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus — with the SpaceX founder from their on-and-off relationship between 2018 and 2022.

Grimes sued Musk for custody in 2023, and the pair were in an ugly custody battle across two states, Texas and California.

At one point, the singer claimed she had been separated from one of her children for five months.

Last July, Grimes’ mother wrote publicly to Musk on social media, saying, “I’m writing here as the only way I have to reach you. As you know, my 93 year old mother is now at end-of-life palliative care.
