Grants of up to £15,000 are open to UK not-for-profit organisations delivering activities for young people

The Children’s Alliance is offering grants to not-for-profit organisations across the UK to support projects that give children and young people under the age of 18 access to water for learning, development and play.

Funding of up to £15,000 is available per project.

Eligible activities

Organisations can apply for projects that help children access water-based learning and play.

Eligible projects include

• free swimming lessons
• online learning programmes that teach key life skills for parents and children
• water splash areas that support play, water confidence and safety

Application timeline

There are two funding rounds each year, in March and September.

The next application deadline is Tuesday 31 March 2026.
