A former member of noughties pop icons Hear’Say broke down in floods of tears online as she shared personal news about her relationship with fans.

On Friday (27 February) singer Suzanne Shaw revealed that her and fiancé of 12 years Sam Greenfield have split in an “unexpected and tough breakup” last month.

Shaw, who speaks about mental health frequently on her Instagram account, said whilst the breakup has been “tricky”, she is grateful that she has therapy, mediation and running to get her through.

“And it is a new chapter of deep healing now because I’m going into the era of having the greatest love affair with myself.”
