  • Has faced Caboolture Magistrates Court in January

A Queensland professional wrestling promoter and performer has faced court charged with multiple rape and assault offences following alleged incidents across the state.

Elliott Stacey, who performs under the ring name ‘Thirteen,’ is the owner of Caboolture-based United Pro Wrestling (UPW) and has appeared at events across south-east Queensland, including the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Court records show Mr Stacey was charged on October 17, 2025, with three counts of rape and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

He most recently appeared in the Caboolture Magistrates Court on January 19, 2026. His matters are scheduled to be mentioned again on February 19. He is yet to enter any pleas.

The charges have triggered a fallout within the local wrestling scene, with several performers publicly distancing themselves from UPW in the weeks after the charges were laid.

Wrestler ‘Pogo the Clown’ wrote on social media that he had left the company ‘quietly’ in August and no longer considered it his home.

Elliott Stacey was the founder of the United Pro Wrestling organisation in Queensland and wrestled under the pseudonym Thirteen

‘I don’t see UPW as my home anymore, and I fully support Axe, Andre, Bones and anyone else that wishes to make their leave publicly or quietly,’ he told News Corp.

He added his departure was linked to ‘circumstances’ and said it ‘wasn’t a decision I made lightly.’

Tag team performers Andre and Bones, known as Good Boyz Inc., also announced they were parting ways with the promotion and relinquishing their championships.

‘Good Boyz Inc. have decided to part ways with United Pro Wrestling,’ their statement said, noting UPW was where they began their wrestling journey.

It is not alleged any of the performers are involved in Mr Stacey’s criminal matters.

The United Pro Wrestling website has been deactivated and upcoming events scheduled for Caboolture in Brisbane’s north and on the Gold Coast have been cancelled.

In December, UPW advertised the business for sale on social media, citing a large Sunshine Coast and Brisbane fan base and a strong following on Facebook and Instagram.

Mr Stacey was previously profiled in 2017 as a Sunshine Coast wrestler and trainer who ran sessions out of a Kunda Park studio and performed at local shows, including events at Aussie World.

At the time, he spoke about his childhood love of wrestling and his on-screen persona evolving from a villain to a crowd favourite.

The matter remains before the courts.
