Borussia Dortmund have reportedly joined the race to sign Manchester City star Oscar Bobb.

Daily Mail Sport reported last week that Crystal Palace were interested in the Norwegian, who may push to leave City if the club complete a deal to sign Antoine Semenyo.

City are open to offers for Bobb, with the winger recently returning to the first-team fold before picking up a hamstring injury against Brentford in the Carabao Cup last Wednesday evening.

A number of clubs showing interest in his availability for next month and, according to Fabrizio Romano, German giants Dortmund are among those considering a move.

Bobb has made 15 appearances for City this season, including nine in the Premier League. He has registered one assist.

City appear to be in pole position to land Semenyo after the Bournemouth star indicated his preference was to join Pep Guardiola’s side.

Manchester United had also made an effort to sign the Ghanaian, while Chelsea withdrew from the race once it became clear that the player would choose City.

Liverpool have previously done due diligence on him too, with Tottenham having also registered interest.

Daily Mail Sport reported that Chelsea had also come to the table on Monday evening, after Semenyo had spent a day off weighing up his options.

Semenyo is available for £65million in the January window, although his release clause expires in the second week of the month.

Scoring 11 goals last season, Semenyo was on the radar of a number of top clubs last summer and has followed that up with eight goals in 16 appearances this term.

Semenyo’s contract with Bournemouth runs until 2030, and boss Androni Iraola has said the forward remains fully focused on his job despite the noise around his future.
