“90 Day Fiancé” star Armando Rubio’s 13-year-old daughter, Hannah, has been hospitalized after a serious medical emergency, and he’s unable to be with her.
The reality star — who “90 Day Fiancé” fans know from his love story with his husband, Kenny Niedermeier — shared the devastating news on Instagram Tuesday. He said in a video that Hannah had complained about not feeling well when he noticed half her face was “droopy” and half her body “had no strength.”
He took her to the doctor, who suggested he transfer her to another medical facility since their small town in Mexico didn’t have the proper testing equipment. Armando said they decided as a family to take her to the US since her condition was serious.
His mom was able to go with Hannah via ambulance to Arizona, where doctors have since found blood in her brain. But they still didn’t have all the answers, so Hannah was airlifted to an intensive care unit at a hospital in Phoenix.
Armando said he still didn’t have answers as to the cause of Hannah’s symptoms, and that Kenny — who was in Ohio for a family funeral when the medical emergency occurred — was making his way to be with Hannah as soon as he could.
“Unfortunately, I can’t be there, which is the hardest part of it all,” he told fans.
Prior to the video, Armando — who’s still in the process of obtaining a spousal visa — shared an alarming post, asking his followers if anyone knew someone at any Mexican embassy or consulate because he needed an medical emergency travel visa.
Armando told Page Six Wednesday he attempted to request a temporary humanitarian parole so he could cross the border and be with Hannah, but a US Customs and Border Protection supervisor told him those hadn’t been granted since 2025. He and his immigration attorney are now pursuing a separate emergency request.
Armando told us he’s keeping his focus on Hannah.
“Every parent wants to be at their child’s bedside when they’re sick, and not being able to hold her hand or comfort her has been the hardest thing I’ve ever experienced,” he shared. “It feels like we’ve been separated when she needs her dad the most.”
He added, “I am doing everything within my power to be reunited with her because, more than anything, she needs her daddy, and I need to be with my little girl.”
“My baby girl,” he wrote. “Please send healing vibes her way.”
He later shared a GoFundMe created by a close friend of his and Kenny’s to help pay for Hannah’s hospital bills. As of publishing time, it’s raised over $28,000 and counting.
“I’m honestly embarrassed to ask for help,” Armando wrote, before noting that his close friend reminded him that it’s OK to lean on people who care.
He added, “Please only do what you can. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.”
Kenny also thanked fans for all their support in an Instagram Story Wednesday. He shared a pic of himself sitting at an airport, noting he was on his way to Hannah and that Armando’s sister and mom were currently with her.
“I’ll be with her soon,” he wrote.
Armando, 37, and Kenny, 64, made their TLC debut in Season 2 of “90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way” in 2020. Cameras captured Kenny moving to Mexico to be with Armando, his much younger partner, after the two connected through a Facebook group for gay dads
Armando shared Hannah with his late ex-wife, who tragically died in a car accident.
Kenny is also a dad to his son, Bricen, and his triplet daughters — Madison, Cassidy and Taylor. He was not in a romantic relationship with his children’s mother, and they were born through in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
