CCTV footage has captured a woman smashing her way through a train station’s glass panel to avoid paying a $2.50 fare.

The woman can be seen approaching the train gates at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) station before running into a glass gate at full speed, sending it shattering everywhere.

She quickly picks herself up and heads down to the platform.

Last month, the metro system installed glass barriers at every station in order to limit fare jumpers. However, since June 1, MARTA police have arrested 40 people accused of damaging the gates.
