A woman has died after a tree fell in Manchester, police have said.
It happened near the junction of Barlow Moor Road and Stanton Avenue in Didsbury at about 19:15 BST on Saturday.
“Despite the best efforts of emergency workers, a woman in her 40s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson added.
They said the death was not being treated as suspicious.
