Jose Sa was seen arguing with a Wolves fan after the referee blew for half-time in their clash with Bournemouth.
Gary O’Neil’s side had endured a dismal start to the campaign and found themselves rock bottom of the table after picking up just one point from their opening eight games.
However, the club entered Saturday’s clash with Bournemouth with a newfound confidence after going unbeaten in their last four games, including back-to-back wins over Southampton and Fulham.
The hosts have kept just one clean sheet all season and their unwanted record continued against the Cherries following a furious start at Molineux.
After just three minutes referee Peter Bankes pointed to the spot and Justin Kluivert duly converted from twelve yards to give his side the lead.
Wolves responded just minutes later through Jorgen Strand Larsen but Bournemouth quickly restored their advantage courtesy of a goal from Milos Kerkez.

The frantic opening continued as Kluivert again stepped up to score from the penalty spot to make it 3-1 to the visitors after just 18 minutes.
The frustration among the home supporters was palpable as Wolves left the pitch from half-time, and shortly after threatened to boil over.
As his team-mates returned down the tunnel, Portugal international Sa could be seen furiously remonstrating with supporters behind his goal.
The goalkeeper was then led away from the stands by goalkeeper coach Neil Cutler, while stewards intervened to eject the fan in question to the applause of supporters.
