WNBA star Natasha Cloud has savaged Donald Trump on social media following his crazed message to Iran on Easter morning.

On Sunday, the president vowed to hit the Middle East nation’s power plants in an expletive-filled social media post.

He wrote: ‘Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran.

‘There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F*****’ Strait, you crazy b*******, or you’ll be living in Hell – JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah.’

But Cloud, who has previously called America ‘trash in so many ways’ and threatened violence against ICE and Donald Trump, posted a withering response to Trump on Threads.

The New York Liberty star wrote: ‘A sitting president who claims to be “a God fearing man” to be tweeting on Easter Sunday that he will bomb Iran’s infrastructure IS NOT A MAN OF CHRIST.

‘A reminder that yes Jesus died for our sins, but He was murdered by….the governing Authority.

‘He did not follow THEIR law, because THEIR law is not Gods law. A part we TOO often just pass over. HE IS RISEN’.

Cloud has failed to hide her disdain for Trump in the past and her latest tirade comes months after she was blasted for supporting Zohran Mamdani and threatening violence against ICE and Trump.

She called Trump ‘Donny’ and suggested there could be severe consequences if ICE agents were to descend on New York.

‘Mamdani, my boy!’ Cloud said initially.

She then continued: ‘If Donny wants to come down here, if ICE wants to try and come down here, that’s fine.

‘But [they’re] going to learn the hard way… New Yorkers really don’t f*** around. They don’t play about one another. The don’t play about this city.’

Cloud also attracted fury in July 2023 in the aftermath of a Supreme Court decision that undid protections for minorities when applying to college just before Independence Day.

She described herself as ‘a proud black gay woman’ in a number of posts addressing the backlash against her and showed her frustration by calling the USA ‘trash’ among other things.

‘Our country is trash in so many ways and instead of using our resources to make it better we continue to oppress Marginalized groups that we have targeted since the beginning of times,’ Cloud’s tweet from Friday said.

‘Black/brown communities& LGBTQ+ man we are too powerful to still be attacking issues separate.’

In further tweets, Cloud shared more frustrations – many of which generated further backlash and angry comments in her Twitter feed.

‘Imagine having all the power and resources to be great. I’m talking about everybody eats. Then imagine wasting it on hateful ideologies. Imagine weaponizing religion. That is America.

‘We are a hateful disappointment. That’s the truth. We have the potential to be great And we waste it. Waste it trying to control what we don’t understand.’

Cloud was drafted into the WNBA by the Washington Mystics in 2015. She spent four years there, winning the WNBA title in 2019.

Now 34, she has also played for the Phoenix Mercury and Liberty, as well as spells in Turkey and Australia.
