Wigan Warriors are to be without Jack Farrimond, Junior Nsemba and Nathan Lowe after they were injured during their Magic Weekend win over St Helens on Sunday.
Farrimond will be out for 12 weeks and will miss much of the rest of the 2026 campaign having suffered a hamstring injury.
Nsemba will be sidelined for four weeks having also suffered a hamstring injury which forced him off during their narrow win at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Lowe was stretchered off in the first half of the fixture and is awaiting a scan on a hamstring injury of his own, which will confirm the timeline of his absence.
Stand-off Farrimond won the Lance Todd Trophy after a stunning performance in Wigan’s Challenge Cup final win over Hull KR in May.
“We’re all really disappointed for him and disappointed for the team. For him, he’s been excellent this year and gone from strength to strength and become a really important part of the team,” head coach Matt Peet said of Farrimond to Radio Manchester.
“We’re going to miss him for sure. It was another performance where watching him you could see he’s getting better and better.”
