The estranged wife of Giants pitcher Sean Hjelle has deleted a TikTok accusing the MLB player of ‘abuse’ and ‘affairs’ – but says she stands by the claims in the video.
On Friday, Caroline Hjelle posted a short clip of herself and her two sons on TikTok, alleging that Sean had ‘abandoned’ his family on Mother’s Day ‘once I finally found out about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse.’
She added that she was raising their two sons alone, while Hjelle later told reporters that the pair were involved in divorce proceedings and had been separated for over a year.
And amid those legal negotiations, Caroline has admitted to taking the video down after being asked by a commenter about the clip’s whereabouts.
‘I had to archive it for the time being for legal reasons,’ Caroline said in the comment section of another one of her videos.
‘I still stand by everything in that post and am incredibly grateful and extremely overwhelmed by the support. It means more than you’ll ever probably know.’

Sean, meanwhile, broke his silence on Saturday night after San Francisco defeated the Red Sox.
‘I don’t have an official comment right now,’ Hjelle said. ‘I would like to talk to my agent, my lawyer. This has been something that has been going on for over a year now in terms of our relationship, our divorce, our separation and everything.
‘I don’t have any official comment right now, I just want to talk to the appropriate people to figure out what the steps are. I’m just taking it in stride right now. No official comment right now.
‘I feel confident saying that I will have one eventually. I don’t have an exact timeline on that, but I would like to actually get with the people that are handling the situation with me and for me before I actually make an official statement.’
It also emerged on Saturday night that MLB has launched an investigation into the allegations, and the Giants have confirmed they are ‘aware of these serious allegations’.
Caroline did not immediately respond to Daily Mail’s previous request for comment.
On TikTok, Caroline wrote on Friday: ‘When my MLB husband abandons us on Mothers (sic) Day a week after this once I finally found out about his affairs and stopped putting up with his abuse so I’ve been raising two boys alone.’
Her TikTok post shows Caroline’s two sons both wearing t-shirts emblazoned with a drawing of their family. A tall baseball player (Sean is 6-foot-11) is pictured holding hands with a blonde woman and two boys. His No. 64 is also visible on the t-shirts.

The couple was married in November of 2021 at a private ceremony in Richmond, Virginia , where their eldest son served as a ringbearer, according to Richmond.com.
Since then, Caroline has become popular on TikTok, where she gives her nearly 40,000 followers a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a Major League Baseball family.
Her posts have frequently focused on her husband’s career and his extraordinary height.
In Hjelle’s most recent appearance for the Giants on Friday, he allowed two hits (including a home run) in one inning against the Red Sox.
San Francisco lost the game 7-5.
