West Ham 0-0 Man Utd

Both sides are just trying to settle into things at the moment, with both guilty of giving the ball away too easily on a couple of occasions.

United edging possession but no chances for either side so far.

West Ham 0-0 Man Utd

A bit of a mix-up in the United defence as Maguire fails to clear originally, before Bowen wins a corner.

It’s punched away by Lammens.

Carrick: ‘We’re not getting carried away’

“We want to be a team, we want to play together and have good connections. That’s the important thing,” says Michael Carrick ahead of kick-off.

“Individuals need to express themselves and play to their strengths, but we’ve got a lot of work to do.

“We’re not getting carried away, we know this is a tough game, but we’ve got a lot of confidence.

“There are loads of things we can improve on, we never want to be standing still. We’ll keep working, but we’ll take the positives from recent weeks,” he adds as he finishes.

Nuno: ‘We have to be really spot on’

Here is what Nuno Espirito Santo has to say to TNT Sports ahead of kick-off:

“We are organised, and we are competing better. We need to be committed, organised and enjoy the game.” he says.

“We are able to put more bodies in the box. We know our wingers are full of talent. We start with three in the middle and let’s see how the game goes.

On United, he explains: “They’ve been doing really well, we can see by the results, the way they play, they have threats all over the pitch. And they have a player that can unbalance anyone in Bruno Fernandes, so we have to be really spot on.”
