Eleven-year-old Welsh DJ and electronic music producer Efan Electro has unveiled his second single, “Stronger”, continuing the momentum of a fast-emerging career that has already gained national attention.

Hailing from Llanllechid in Eryri (Snowdonia), Efan has been building his reputation through a combination of focused studio production, live DJ sets, broadcast appearances, and involvement in locally rooted creative initiatives.

Stronger reflects a clear step forward in artistic development, presenting a confident and polished electronic track driven by energy and emotional positivity, while remaining accessible to a broad dance music audience.

The track gained early recognition ahead of its release after being featured by Adam Walton on BBC Introducing. This support made Efan one of the youngest producers to receive airplay on the platform, reinforcing the quality of the production and pointing to increasing recognition within the UK music industry.

Efan said “I was overjoyed to have a play in BBC Introducing, I never thought it would happen at my age. It feels amazing to have the song finally released and it’s given me such a boost of confidence to release more music in the future”

The release follows the recent broadcast of a documentary exploring Efan’s journey as a young electronic artist, now available to watch on BBC iPlayer and the S4C YouTube Channel.

The documentary offers an insightful portrayal of Efan navigating the demands of professional music-making while continuing his education, capturing studio sessions, rehearsals, and live performance experiences.

A notable scene in the film shows Efan performing a DJ set at Kendal Calling, placing him on a major UK festival lineup at a remarkably young age. He performs on the Tîm Peaks Cafe stage, just ahead of a secret set by Welsh band The Royston Club.
The documentary also records a backstage meeting with electronic music pioneer Fatboy Slim, highlighting a meaningful exchange between generations and reflecting the inclusive nature of electronic music culture.

Alongside his own music releases, Efan has been working with Letters Grow Studio, a grassroots creative hub that supports young people through music and media projects. Through this collaboration, he contributed to a community-led initiative producing a track for the North Wales Rivers Trust, using music as a vehicle for environmental awareness and positive social impact.

Efan Electro’s story is increasingly recognised for more than just technical ability. His progress demonstrates the role music can play in nurturing confidence, creativity, and wellbeing in young people, while offering an empowering creative outlet at an early age.

As a Welsh artist, Efan embodies a new generation engaging with electronic music while remaining firmly connected to local culture, community, and place.

“Stronger” is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major streaming platforms from 12 January 2026.
