A man narrowly avoided being crushed when an elevator malfunctioned at a residential complex in India on Tuesday (3 March).
CCTV footage shows the man entering the lift and pressing the button for the ground floor.
He leans on the wall while waiting for the list to stop. He begins to exit, and the lift suddenly surges upwards while the doors are still open.
The man was then trapped between the floor and the moving lift, but managed to escape.
