Victoria Beckham said all she and her husband, David Beckham, have “ever tried to do” was “protect and love” their four children as she broke her silence on the family’s estrangement from son Brooklyn.
The former Spice Girl addressed the matter for the first time during an interview with the Wall Street Journal published Thursday.
“I think that we’ve always – we love our children so much,” Victoria, 51, said when asked about Brooklyn, although she didn’t refer to her eldest by name. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.”

She continued, “And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
Victoria and Brooklyn’s reps did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The luxury fashion designer and David, 50, welcomed 27-year-old Brooklyn in 1999. They also share sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21, and daughter Harper, 14.
But Brooklyn reportedly began to distance himself from the Beckham clan after marrying his wife, 31-year-old actress and model Nicola Peltz, in 2022.
