A-list movie star Emma Stone looked unrecognizable as she was filmed sitting directly behind home plate at Wednesday’s New York Yankees game against the San Diego Padres.
Stone is wearing a Padres’ classic brown jacket with the matching hat, with sunglasses to help with sitting directly in the sun.
Next to the ‘La La Land’ star is her husband, Dave McCary, who is from San Diego, which explains the Arizona native turning away from the Diamondbacks to support their NL West division rivals.
Stone caught the attention of baseball fans during a battle between one of the Padres’ best pitchers, Dylan Cease, and Aaron Judge, arguably the best hitter in baseball.
A fastball up and away from Judge caused a swing and a miss for strike three in the Bronx, bringing Stone and McCary to their feet, cheering wildly.
Although the site of Stone rooting on her favorite baseball team may be more accustomed at San Diego’s Petco Park, the 36-year-old making her opinions known in the middle of Yankee Stadium stood out clearly.

As Stone stood up from her seat after Judge struck out, the Yankees faithful around her smirked knowing she was uber-famous and supporting her team.
Stone is one of the most accomplished actresses of the 21st century with two Oscar wins and four nominations in a 10-year span.
In the past, Stone has declined to talk about her personal life despite being one of the most-recognizable faces in Hollywood, especially during her relationships with Kieran Culkin and Andrew Garfield.
Now that she’s married to McCary, her personal life is on display more than ever, with the Padres as an easy link for the duo.
The Yankees did defeat the Padres on Wednesday 4-3 and won the series in the interleague matchup.
