Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had a frightening near-error early in a Thursday Night Football contest against the Buffalo Bills which had fans mocking him.

On the Dolphins’ second offensive drive of the night, Tagovailoa looked to make a pass on 3rd & 5 from deep in their own territory.

But Tagovailoa mis-handled the snap – bobbling it twice before it hit the ground for a fumble.

The fifth-year veteran quarterback was able to recover his own mistake but gained just two yards. The Dolphins then punted the ball away.

After that play, fans began mocking Tagovailoa – who has a long and complicated history with concussions in the NFL.

‘Bro has scrambled eggs for brains, not sure he even knows what day it is,’ said one user on X.

Another fan mocked, ‘Tua looks like Joe Biden the second he gets outside the pocket.’

‘Tua is seeing ghosts again,’ said NFL content aggregator account Dov Kleiman.

‘He saw them load up that line and did not want that smoke,’ said another commenter.

One post read, ‘That man was scared for his life. I hope he gets his mind right.’

Tagovailoa didn’t let the near-miss get to him, going on to lead the Dolphins on a late drive to score a touchdown to tie the game at 14-14 before the half.
