UNC student brutally trolls Bill Belichick in interview after another humiliating Tar Heels loss

A University of North Carolina student rubbed salt in the wound as Bill Belichick’s tenure went from bad to worse on Saturday.

The legendary coach has suffered a humiliating start to life in college football with the Tar Heels slumping to 2-3 for the season.

And they endured another miserable defeat on Saturday afternoon when they were destroyed 38-10 by the Clemson Tigers.

But it’s not just Belichick who is suffering. UNC’s season makes for painful viewing for their fans as one student hilariously pointed out during ESPN’s broadcast.

As the network began to cut away to commercial during the second quarter, it showed an interview with North Carolina student Anna Yi, who hilariously trolled Belichick and the Tar Heels.

‘TCU was… I went to that game,’ Yi said with UNC trailing 28-3 t the time. ‘And that was, that was one of the saddest feelings I’ve had in University so far. I’ve failed midterms before, so that’s saying something.’

Yi was, of course, referring to UNC’s 48-14 blowout loss to TCU on Belichick’s September 1 college football debut.

Her comical analysis of the Tar Heels under Belichick’s regime swiftly went viral on social media.

‘I think maybe we need to get Anna a tutor first, so she doesn’t struggle with her next midterm,’ ESPN commentator Mark Jones said after Yi’s interview was shown again i the fourth quarter.

‘But, I’ll tell you what- if there’s a do-over, North Carolina would probably want one right now. Make-up test.’

‘First off, Anna, the fact that you failed midterms with an ‘s’, plural; I’m with you, girl. I feel you,’ Roddy Jones gimed in.

‘Look, each Saturday is a test,’ Roddy added. ‘And let’s just say, North Carolina has failed miserably now on its third of the year. I mean, these games against Power Four opponents — TCU, UCF, and now Clemson — have been uncompetitive.’

Yi wasn’t alone in her misery either as many fans piled onto social media to claim that Belichick, who won six Super Bowls as head coach of the New England Patriots, was tarnishing his legacy.

Taking to X, one fan wrote: ‘Belichick should have retired when Tom Brady left town. He is tarnishing his legacy.

‘His stint at UNC will go down as a disastrous ending to a Hall of Fame career. He brought it all on to himself’.

‘North Carolina is Belichick without Brady and Gronk’, one brutally said.

Another wrote: ‘#Clemson has played much, much better. Love the motion, the movement. And UNC is a mess’

Meanwhile, Dave Portnoy said: ‘I would not hold it against Belichick if he just quit at halftime and was never seen again. Somebody has to get him the hell out of college football asap’.

Belichick will be hoping that he’s able to turn his form around when the Tar Heels next take to the field. UNC have another open week before visiting California on Oct. 17.
