Experts to meet in Belfast to explore the power of digital twins
Digital Catapult is working with Connected Places Catapult to bring a special edition of the Gemini Call to Northern Ireland.
Typically held online as a weekly forum, the Gemini Call provides a platform for the UK digital twin community to share updates and ideas. It brings together experts, businesses and researchers to explore how digital twin technology is changing industry.
However, on Tuesday 25 November 2025, the Gemini Call will go live and in person, at the UK Digital Twin Centre in Belfast.
The event will show how digital twins are already helping sectors like maritime, aerospace and defence to manage assets, plan operations and cut costs. Attendees will hear from speakers from Digital Catapult, Connected Places Catapult and Spirit AeroSystems, as well as innovative small businesses using digital twins to solve real problems.
In the afternoon, a policy workshop will invite participants to help shape national recommendations on how the UK can use digital twins to boost innovation and regional growth.
Guests will also get hands-on access to live technology demos, networking opportunities, and insights into how Northern Ireland is helping to lead the UK’s digital twin development.
