UK Digital Twin Centre accelerator programme

Support for partnerships between tech small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and industry to fast-track digital twin adoption in the maritime, aerospace, and defence sectors.

Expressions of interest are now open for the first UK Digital Twin Centre accelerator programme.

What support is available?

Alongside Innovate UK funding, you will gain access to mentorship, workshops, and specialist support to develop a proof-of-concept and help bring your solution closer to real-world deployment. This accelerator focuses on digital twin enabling technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), data integration, and simulation tools.

Applications will open in June 2025, with the programme commencing in January 2026. Expressions of interest are now open.

New UK Digital Twin Centre in Belfast

Digital Catapult has also announced the official opening of the UK Digital Twin Centre in Belfast. This is designed to boost innovation, create high-skilled jobs, and grow Northern Ireland’s industrial economy. The centre is funded by the Belfast Region City Deal and Innovate UK, with early co-investment from Artemis Technologies, Spirit AeroSystems and Thales UK.
