UFC fighter Diego Lopes had an embarrassing moment outside of the Octagon after his victory last Saturday evening in San Antonio.

Lopes was fighting Jean Silva in the main event of Noche UFC down in Texas when he stopped his rival in the second round for a bounce back victory.

It was Silva’s first loss inside the Octagon, making it a special moment for Lopes – who did not appear to show much physical damage.

However, moments after arguably the biggest win of his career, he was seen chugging Gatorade to recover from the event.

After departing the Octagon, he was conducting an interview backstage when he suddenly stopped the proceedings.

Lopes then got violently sick – putting his hand to his mouth before vomiting straight onto the floor.

He later found a trash can to expel copious amounts of bright orange colored liquid.

Later, Lopes apologized to everyone around him – only to then seemingly crack open yet another bottle of the sports drink.

Per Full Send MMA, Lopes was examined by a doctor and was cleared of a concussion while claiming the fighter experienced an ‘adrenaline dump’.

Lopes knocked out Silva with a spinning back elbow to clinch the $100,000 prize.

This is the second fight of 2025 so far for Lopes, who previously suffered the seventh loss of his career to Alexander Volkanovski by unanimous decision at UFC 314 in Miami back in April.
