Two men have been charged with the murder of a 72-year-old man who died in hospital after a burglary at his home.
Wayne Milsom, 49, and Ryan Robbins, 33, both of Keynsham, have been charged with the murder of Stephen Ridgeway.
Mr Ridgeway died on 7 December, five weeks after being injured in an attack at his house in Tenby Road, Keynsham, in the early hours of 3 November.
No pleas were entered when the two men appeared at Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. They were remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Bristol Crown Court on Friday.
