President Donald Trump warned “bombs will be dropping everywhere” after the US and Israel launched co-ordinated strikes across Iran.

In an eight-minute video address to the nation on Saturday (28 February), the US president announced a “major combat operation,” stating Iran could never have a nuclear weapon, adding: “It’s been mass terror, and we’re not going to take it any longer.”

Trump told reporters on Friday (27 February) in Washington that he was frustrated with the latest round of negotiations with Iran, saying he said he was “not happy” with how discussions were progressing.
