President Donald Trump spent his evening and early morning posting memes on Truth Social, boasting about his approach to the Iran war and hailing himself “the man who saved America.”

Trump was posting memes Monday night shortly after Central Command confirmed the U.S. had launched strikes on Iran in what the military described as defensive actions.

Despite the tense state of negotiations between the two countries, Trump fired off memes that lauded him as “Master Negotiator” and “the Dealmaker in Chief” early Tuesday.

“The only president who knows how to fix the White House,” another meme read.

One image shared by the president, originally posted by an account called WomenForTrump, accused former President Barack Obama of sending Iran “tons of cash to fund nukes – treason!”

Another cartoon compared their policies on Iran, with Obama depicted as handing the Middle East nation “pallets of cash,” versus Trump’s policy, represented by an American warship shooting down Iranian fighter jets.

Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, was asked about Trump’s Iran memes at a recent press conference. “We have more important works to do than responding to the U.S. President’s posts or the other malicious media campaigns, including caricatures posted on the social platforms,” he said.

Aside from the conflict with Iran, Trump bragged that “our pool is bigger than skyscrapers,” and shared an image comparing the size of the Lincoln Reflecting Pool to One World Trade Center and the Empire State Building.

He also posted an idyllic picture of “Trump’s America in 2026,” depicting a charming scene of a home with a yard and picket fence, draped in the American flag.

The White House has previously said “the American people appreciate hearing his first-hand insights on topics of importance to our country” via Truth Social, and that the press “can’t get enough of Trump.”

Even with Trump’s bragging, a slew of recent polls has him at his highest disapproval rating since the Jan. 6 Capitol riot in 2021, according to a polling group.

With grocery and gas prices remaining stubbornly high, Trump’s average job disapproval rating jumped to 58.3 percent—higher than it was after Jan. 6, according to RealClearPolitics, which looked at the averages of recent polls to reach the new low point.

The findings come on the heels of another damning poll that found 76 percent of Americans believe the economy is getting worse, according to new Gallup research, signaling that voters are focusing on affordability ahead of the midterm elections in November.

Despite campaigning on a platform to ease the financial burden on Americans during the 2024 presidential election, Trump recently brushed off their economic plight.

“I don’t think about American’s financial situation — I don’t think about anybody,” the president told reporters at the White House earlier this month. “I think about one thing: We cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon.”
