Raheem Kassam, a close ally of Donald Trump, has claimed that the US president is preparing for a 30 day war with Iran.

In a post on X, the Washington insider wrote: “Three well placed sources tell me admin is prepared for up to a 30 day Iran campaign

“Thirty days sounds like a lot but it’s really not for a small campaign like this.

He added that it would be “all airstrikes and drones… they are not putting a single troop on the ground, at all. It is not happening, there is no way it’s going to happen.”

Trump told Axios after Saturday’s strikes: “I can go long and take over the whole thing, or end it in two or three days and tell the Iranians.”
