Former champion-turned-fading boxer Adrien Broner was booted from rapper Cam’ron’s popular podcast on Tuesday after ignoring the host’s warnings to stop flirting with his on-air co-host.
Sporting a greying beard and speaking in an increasingly raspy voice, the 36-year-old Broner repeatedly interrupted the interview to make passes at Treasure ‘Stat Baby’ Wilson, who co-hosts ‘It Is What It Is’ with Cam’ron and Ma$e.
At one point, Broner responded to a question about boxing’s welterweight division by telling Wilson: ‘Stat, I love you.’
Things ultimately boiled over during a discussion about Sunday’s NFL action when Broner appeared to stop himself from making another comment about Wilson: ‘I can’t talk… You told me to stop.’
Cam’ron took the moment to end his interview with Broner.
‘Hey, we going to have to ask you to go, my n*****,’ Cam’ron said before pulling a stack of cash out of a small bag to give to his guest.

Cam’ron laughed at first, but ultimately decided to ask Broner to leave Tuesday’s show
‘I don’t have no problems with you, but I’m gonna pay you for your time,’ the rapper said, adding: ‘You can’t violate, bro.’
Cam’ron went on to explain that Wilson’s boyfriend was on set.
A clip of the incident was later shared on Cam’ron’s Instagram page with the caption: ‘SEE THIS JUST WHY WE DON’T JUST LET ANYBODY COME ON OUR SHOW. THIS [Ninja emoji] [Broner] WAS OUTTA POCKET, SO [Cam’ron] POLITELY TOLD THIS [Ninja emoji] TO EXIT THE BUILDING.’
A native of Cincinnati who won the WBO Super Featherweight title at just 22 in 2011, Broner enjoyed a meteoric rise in the boxing world before his career was derailed by a series of arrests, upset defeats and mental health issues.
Broner pulled out of a 2022 fight with Oscar Figueroa due to the latter, saying he wasn’t prepared to box due to his struggles.
‘Sorry to all my fans but #MentalHealth is real and I’m not about to play inside the ring,’ Broner explained on social media.
Since beating Pauli Malignaggi for the WBA welterweight title in 2013, Broner is just 11-5-1. He last appeared in the ring in June of 2024 when he lost a unanimous decision to Blair Cobbs.
Prior to his ouster on Cam’ron’s podcast, Broner told the panel he expects to return to the ring at junior welterweight, which he sees as his natural division.
