A family has paid tribute to a “loving” father and grandad who died after being struck a bus.
Brian Norris, 69, died in hospital four days after being hit at the junction of Kirkhall Lane and Atherleigh Way in Leigh, Wigan, on 31 March.
In a statement, the family said Mr Norris’ death was “heart breaking” and thanked the staff who cared for him at Salford Royal Hospital.
They also said his “selfless” act of organ donation had “touched many lives”.
“We would like to thank the doctors and the very caring nurses for the wonderful care and dignity they gave Brian, thank you would never be enough,” the family said.
“While this is a heart-breaking loss for the family, Brian’s selfless act of organ donation has touched the lives of many.”
