As his wedding with Taylor Swift fast approaches, Travis Kelce is keen to keep looking forward – and not reflect on his embarrassing dating history.
The Kansas City Chiefs star was previously the subject of his own dating show – titled ‘Catching Kelce’ – in which 50 women from 50 US states battled it out for the then eligible bachelor.
A lot has changed since then, with the tight end now one half of the world’s most famous couple… and the man himself is in no mood to rewatch the 2016 show.
In the ‘No Dumb Questions’ segment of his New Heights podcast this week, Kelce was asked: ‘Would you rather be forced and tortured watching Catching Kelce on a loop for the rest of your life, or get Brazilian waxed like Jason?’
Without hesitation, Travis responded: ‘I’d rather get Brazilian waxed. Are you kidding me? Yeah, I’d rather get my gooch waxed!’
His brother Jason then backed his decision, noting: ‘Yeah. Just rip it off. Easy decision!’

Kelce has previously claimed that agreeing to the E! reality series was ‘the worst thing I ever did’, referring to it only as ‘the dating show’.
‘It didn’t set me up for anything,’ he told Bussin’ With The Boys. ‘I didn’t realize what reality TV really was. I don’t even think anybody watched it.’
He also admitted in 2023 that he was financially motivated to do the show, after burning through the first few pay checks of his NFL career with the Chiefs.
‘I was so bad financially my first couple years,’ he told The Pivot in 2023. ‘I literally went through my first couple checks like it was nothing. My season checks, all that.

‘I was having so much fun, buying whatever the hell I wanted to, going wherever the hell I wanted to. So I heard about the situation where I can make six figures in two weeks? I was like, “This is actually starting to sound a little better”.’
Now, though, it is full steam ahead for Kelce and Swift, as they prepare for what is expected to be the wedding of the year in 2026.
The pair are reportedly set to tie the knot on June 13 at the luxurious Ocean House in Rhode Island, close to Swift’s property in the north-east of America.
