Trafford CentreThe Trafford Centre’s Christmas Parade is to return this weekend after a six-year hiatus.
Visitors can expect to see popular children’s characters such as Hey Duggee and Bluey alongside more traditional figures such as Father Christmas.
The shopping centre said it would be a “musical extravaganza”, with singers and dancers celebrating the start of the festive season.

When does the parade take place?
Trafford CentreThe Trafford Centre Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday 15 November between 11:30 GMT and 14:30 GMT.

- Bluey and Bingo
- Hey Duggee
- Paddington
- The Gruffalo
- Stick Man
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Miraculous’ Cat Noir and Lady Bug
- Squishmallows’ Cam the Cat
- Supertato
- Teletubbies
- Ginger from Vegesaurs
- Bo and Mojo from Mojo Swoptops
How do I get there and where do I park?
The Trafford CentreThe parade will take place around The Orient in the Trafford Centre, which is in Trafford Park, Greater Manchester, about five miles (8km) west of Manchester city centre.
The Trafford Centre has 10,000 free parking spaces, but is also easily accessible on public transport.
By car, you can get there off the M60, via junctions 9 or 10.
By tram, take the Metrolink Trafford Park Line which runs direct from Manchester city centre.
Buses run from all over Greater Manchester to The Trafford Centre bus station.
If you are travelling by train, there are both bus and tram connections from nearby rail stations such as Urmston, Salford Crescent and Manchester Piccadilly.
Do I need a ticket for the parade?
Trafford CentreThe parade is free to attend and a ticket is not needed – but visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot.
What else is the Trafford Centre offering families this Christmas?
The Trafford CentreThere are a host of other family-friendly activities on offer at the centre.
These include Gandey’s Snowstorm show which runs from 5 December until 4 January, alongside a fairground and an ice rink.
The fairground and ice rink open on 22 November.
