Seismic night in Spurs survival scrap
Yes, I know it’s still hard to believe that Tottenham are in a relegation battle.
For months on end, I have seen Spurs near the bottom of the table and thought ‘Tottenham will be alright, they have no reason to worry’. Now, though, they have more than enough reason to worry.
Igor Tudor’s Tottenham side host Crystal Palace tonight knowing they are well and truly embroiled in a scrap for survival and can ill-afford to drop points.
Just one point separates them, Nottingham Forest, and West Ham, in 16th, 17th, and 18th. The relegation battle is closer than it’s been all season.
Win tonight, and safer waters away from the drop zone will seem reachable, but lose, and the reality of Championship football next season will be more genuine than ever.
This is a seismic night not only for Tottenham’s season, but for their future as a football club. It’s massive.
We will be here to cover it all. So lock in, get the seatbelt on, and let’s go on a ride.
Pull the lever, Kronk!
