Tom Brady recently revealed his list of the NFL’s best-ever arms – and there was surprisingly no room for Patrick Mahomes.
Speaking in a new video for his YouTube channel, Brady was asked to name the five quarterbacks with the most talented arms in league history.
The former Patriots quarterback actually named eight – but not Kansas City’s three-time MVP Mahomes.
Brady started off by naming Dan Marino and Aaron Rodgers before getting into some more debatable selections.
Brett Favre, Matthew Stafford, Jeff George, Randall Cunningham, Michael Vick and even Mahomes’ contemporary Josh Allen were also named.
Brady’s inclusion of Stafford was a bit more hesitant as he said he ‘might put [him] up there,’ while the seven-time Super Bowl winner admitted: ‘I’m missing a lot of people.’
Tom Brady snubbed Patrick Mahomes in a recent video in which he named the best NFL arms of all-time

Mahomes is a three-time MVP and champion with the Chiefs but had a woeful Super Bowl LIX
Nonetheless, he believed the names he mentioned were on another level with their arms.
‘Those guys are a step above. [There are] people who have great arms, and then I think you have the elite, elite arms.’
The Mahomes snub comes after Brady called the Chiefs’ blowout Super Bowl loss to the Eagles for Fox.
Prior to the game, the quarterbacks were frequently pitted against one another as Mahomes – who was seeking a Super Bowl three-peat – was consistently mentioned in ‘GOAT’ discussions.
A win against the Eagles would have seen Mahomes win four Lombardi Trophies by age 29, while Brady didn’t complete the feat until he was 37.
However, Brady’s ‘GOAT’ status remained intact as Mahomes had one of the worst games of his career against a scary Eagles defense, throwing two interceptions, losing a fumble and taking six sacks in the 40-22 loss.
Mahomes even admitted afterwards: ‘I have to get better.’
Despite reaching the Super Bowl for a third straight season, Mahomes’ regular season-numbers reached career-lows last season, even as a well-oiled Kansas City team went 15-2.

Brady singled out Dan Marino for praise but did not mention Mahomes in the video

His 3,928 passing yards were his lowest as a starter (though he did sit the last game), and his 26 passing yards were his joint-lowest.
Mahomes has also now produced four consecutive seasons of at least 11 interceptions.
Brady, meanwhile, has been keeping busy in his new role broadcasting for Fox, as well as holding a minority ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.
The 47-year-old received mixed reviews for his broadcasting work in his debut season, as he bizarrely branded Josh Allen a ‘spaz,’ and underwhelmed viewers at times with his banal analysis.
However, he did earn plaudits for his work covering the Eagles’ win over the Commanders in the NFC Championship Game, and he’ll hope to continue building on that as he returns to the booth next fall.
