Three members of a group which was the subject of a programme have been charged with harassment of the show’s presenter Catrin Nye.
A Very British Cult was released in April 2023 and centred on an organisation previously known as Lighthouse International Group.
Kristofer Alexander Deichler, 46, Jatinder Singh Kamra, 45 and Sukhraj Bir Singh, 38, were charged with harassment without violence between 28 August and 6 September 2024.
They have been on bail since they were arrested in London in September last year.
The podcast and TV documentary told the story of Lighthouse – which has since rebranded itself as Lighthouse Global – and how it began as a life coaching organisation led by a man called Paul Waugh.
No date has yet been set for their court hearing.
