The NFLPA has released its third annual team report cards, and one unlucky owner has been deemed the worst in the league.
The survey, which saw 77 percent of NFL players participate, asked for feedback on 11 different areas, including head coach, owner, team travel, treatment of families, food, the locker room and more.
And at the end, Jets owner Woody Johnson received an F rating – the lowest in the NFL – as Gang Green playersoffered a scathing assessment of him. On the opposite side of the coin, the Dolphins (highest overall grade), Falcons and Vikings all received A+ ownership grades.
‘Rather than addressing concerns, players believed that management responded to feedback by making conditions worse,’ the Jets’ report on the NFLPA website read.
‘For example, after receiving low grades for their food program last year, players felt the team cut the food budget and did not retain their long-time dietitian, who was previously their highest-rated staff member.’
New England’s Robert Kraft and the Steelers’ Art Rooney III were not much better than Johnson, receiving Ds, while Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill received an even worse D-minus.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins were given the top overall grade based on a range of factors
Players provided feedback on these 11 areas, with team owner and head coach weighted the highest
Overall, the Cardinals were voted last of all 32 teams, with the team’s apparently outdated facility proving to be a main point of criticism for players.
‘The top concern for many players is the need for an updated, modernized and expanded team facility,’ the report card reads on the NFLPA website. ‘Nearly every space within the facility is described as too small, especially the team’s locker room.’
Rounding out the overall bottom five are the Patriots at 31, the Browns at 30, the Jets at 29 and the Steelers at 28.
Meanwhile, the Bills received the league’s worst grade (F-minus) for team travel, the Patriots and Cardinals were both deemed to have the worst weight rooms (F) and Cleveland and Arizona both received F-minuses for their locker rooms. The Broncos and Commanders also received F grades in that area.
The Bengals received the worst grade (F) for food/dining area, and they also scored lowest (F-minus) in treatment of families, with the Jaguars (F) not far behind in that area as well.
The Bears, Jaguars and Browns also received the worst grades (C) for head coach, though the former two will enter the 2025 season with new head coaches.
Pittsburgh was given a league-low C-minus for its strength coaches, while Cleveland’s training staff was deemed the worst in the league at C-minus, and the Cardinals’ training room was graded the lowest at a D-minus.
Robert Kraft was also given a very low grade as owner, and the Patriots ranked 31st overall
Ultimately, the Cardinals were given the lowest overall grade at 32nd in the NFL
The Bengals were also deemed to have the worst nutrionist/dietician (C) in the league, while the Giants, Steelers and Commanders also picked up C-pluses.
On the bright side, the Vikings (No. 2), Falcons (3), Raiders (4) and Chargers rounded out the top five for the overall rankings.
Regarding the Dolphins, who were ranked first overall, the report beamed about the ‘extremely positive player experience’ and renovated locker room in Miami, while the Falcons jumped all the way up from 25th the previous year.
Coach Raheem Morris was one of six head coaches to receive an A-plus, along with the Commanders’ Dan Quinn, Vikings’ Kevin O’Connell, Chiefs’ Andy Reid, Lions’ Dan Campbell and Dolphins’ Mike McDaniel.
Miami also received top marks for team travel, strength coaches, weight room, food/dining area, training staff and training room.
The Vikings were given the league’s only A-plus for their treatment of families, while the Raiders’ were deemed to have the best nutrionist/dietician.
Interestingly, some of the NFL’s best teams finished lowest.
The Super Bowl-champion Eagles finished at just 22nd overall, with players identifying childcare on gamedays and staggering lunch times (to avoid overcrowding) as easy fixes that can be made.
The Bills (23) and Buccaneers (27) also received low grades, while the AFC champion Chiefs finished at 26.
Kansas City Players, the report says, still want to see improvements to the locker room and a new game hotel, though improvements have been made in the food program.
