New footage of former WWE president Vince McMahon’s terrifying car crash has been revealed.
McMahon was driving over 100mph on the narrow Merritt Parkway in Connecticut last July near the Gold Coast enclave of Westport as a police officer tried to pull him over.
Video from the Connecticut State Trooper’s car shows McMahon’s Bentley Continental GT speeding up before the wrestling executive crashed into the back of a woman’s car.
McMahon’s vehicle then jolted left before bouncing off a wooden guardrail in the median. He then continued to drive northbound on the Merritt for a while before eventually pulling to the side of the road.
In the video, McMahon is heard cursing at himself as the State Trooper asked him why he was traveling so fast.
McMahon remarked that it was his granddaughter’s birthday and he had to get there.

He also remarked, ‘I haven’t driven this car in quite some time,’ before the officer responded that the 542-horsepower vehicle is a fast car.
McMahon received a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely resulting in an accident. He was released at the scene on a bond of $500.
In October, a judge granted McMahon an accelerated rehabilitation program for a one-year period on the condition he donated $1,000 to charity and only drives while properly insured and licensed.
Charges would be dismissed in mid-October 2026 if McMahon continues to obey the law.
‘Vince’s primary concern during this case was for the other drivers and is appreciative that the court saw this as more of an accident than a crime that needed to be prosecuted,’ said Mark Sherman, McMahon’s attorney.
McMahon resigned from the WWE last year after a former employee filed a lawsuit accusing him of multiple instances of sexual assault.
Janel Grant, a woman from Stamford, Connecticut – where the WWE is headquartered – claimed she was required to maintain a sexual relationship with McMahon.
The 79-year-old wrestling executive has denied Grant’s allegations.
