With pre-loved shopping on the rise, so are concerns criminals could be profiting by selling fake versions of designer clothes, handbags, shoes and even football shirts for prices that suggest they are real.
Daniel Rees, retro sports kit expert and owner of Cardiff Classic Shirts, says he has noticed an increase in counterfeit goods and feels it should be up to sellers to ensure what they sell is genuine.
To help keep shoppers safe from fakes and scams, he has broken down his top tips to protect your money.
