Taylor Swift has snubbed Travis Kelce’s latest ‘Car Jam’ charity event in Kansas City and instead headed to California for her good friend Selena Gomez’s wedding.
Kelce, who turns 36 in nine days’ time, typically hosts the annual car exhibition just before his birthday in a bid to raise money for children in the Kansas City and Cleveland areas.
After the pair only went public with their romance in late September 2023, Swift understandably did not show up to the inaugural Kelce Car Jam gala days before her iconic first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game.
However, over a year into the relationship she was nowhere to be seen at last year’s exhibition – and the songstress has given it a miss this year too.
At roughly the same time her fiance’s motor festival was getting underway in KC, Swift was spotted touching down on her private jet in Santa Barbara, where Selena is set to marry Benny Blanco this weekend.
It is unclear when exactly Kelce arrived at his Car Jam event – with fan footage of him on stage surfacing online at around 6:30pm local time – yet his fiancee did not follow to the undoubted disappointment of fans in attendance.

Swift’s no-show was somewhat unexpected anyway given she has largely stayed out of the spotlight in recent weeks following her latest stalker ordeal.
Last week she was granted a five-year restraining order against her alleged stalker, who was accused of repeatedly showing up at her home in May and claiming she had his baby.
Brian Jason Wagner, 45, has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Swift, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Wagner must stay away from her home in Los Angeles, as well as her vehicle and place of work, the documents state.
The judge also ordered him to have no contact with Taylor, whether in person, by letter, or digitally.
Amid her stalker fears, and in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination in Utah, Swift was forced to attend Kelce’s last home game for the Chiefs hidden behind a giant screen after ramping up her own security measures.
She also chose not to watch Kansas City’s defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles in her usual private suite, instead taking in the action somewhere out of sight.
Last year Kelce attended his Car Jam gala – a showcase of muscle cars and swish rides belonging to the NFL icon and his motoring enthusiast buddies – with his older brother Jason. Chiefs teammate George Karlaftis also showed up for the event about an hour after it began.

It is currently unclear if Jason or any of his fellow Kansas City players will be making an appearance at Friday’s event.
Kelce is holding the Car Jam on a Friday this year given the Chiefs are next in action on Sunday, and it’s a huge one to come with the Baltimore Ravens visiting Arrowhead Stadium.
The 35-year-old was pumped for his car exhibition to return this week, saying on the latest episode of his and Jason’s New Heights podcast: ‘The Kelce Car Jam is back, baby. It’s this Friday. I’m gonna break out some new old schools that I got. We got a 1990 Jeep Wrangler with the wood grain on the side. Doggone baby, let’s go!’
Fans in attendance are being treated to ‘an amazing block-party style event’ with food and drink as well as ‘games and a whole lot of fun for everyone,’ Kelce added.
