Sydney Thomas has revealed her March Madness bracket, and the influencer went with some truly bold picks for the NCAA men’s tournament.
Thomas, a University of Alabama student who went viral as a ring girl for the Mike Tyson – Jake Paul fight, filled out a bracket which was shared by the NCAA’s official March Madness X account.
And she had some interesting selections as she picked No. 12 seed UC San Diego to make the Elite Eight and No. 16 Alabama St. to stun Auburn in the first round.
Of course, that second selection is likely driven by Alabama’s in-state rivalry with Auburn, who are the No. 1 seed in the South region.
Thomas ultimately went for her beloved Crimson Tide to win the national championship, with Michigan State, Missouri and Houston also making the Final Four.
Fans reacted to Thomas’ picks on X with March Madness a day from tipping off .

‘Sydney knows her basketball,’ one said.
‘Certified ball knower,’ another added.
‘First celebrity bracket that’s made sense,’ a third added.
The March Madness account has been sharing brackets from a variety of notable names in the buildup to the tournament, with former Yankees star CC Sabathia, Dr. Pimple Popper and even Bugs Bunny getting in on the action.
Former tournament heroes like ex-Gonzaga star Drew Timme and former Oakland sharpshooter Jack Gohlke have also provided their picks to the account.
Speaking exclusively with DailyMail.com ahead of the Super Bowl in New Orleans, Thomas opened up about the ‘overwhelming’ newfound fame she’s dealt with since the Tyson-Paul fight last fall.
‘I get people coming up to me now and asking for pictures, that’s been an adjustment for me,’ she said. ‘It’s weird walking around in public now and getting recognized.
‘I never really thought that’s a position I’d be in. It’s great but it’s also a bit overwhelming.’
March Madness kicks off on Thursday with Creighton and Louisville playing at 12:15 ET.
