A man has been arrested after two women were shot in Philadelphia while celebrating the team’s recent Super Bowl victory.

The women were shot along Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Friday as spectators gathered to watch the Eagles host a parade for winning Super Bowl LIX.

Philadelphia police say the shooting stemmed from an argument or a fight among a few paradegoers.

No one in the crowd of people appeared to notice any shots being fired.

Authorities say a 27-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman appeared at a medical tent at 23rd Street and Spring Garden Street near the Philadelphia Museum of Art for treatment.

The older victim was shot in her left leg while the younger victim had been shot in her upper left thigh.

According to Philadelphia police, both were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and are listed as stable.

While a crime scene has not been located, a weapon used in the shooting has been recovered.

The suspected shooter has been identified as Brandon Ramos, 28, of Philadelphia.

Police have charged Ramos with aggravated assault, possessing an instrument of crime, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person.

The streets of Philadelphia were filled with revelers of various states of celebration and inebriation.

Players signed babies, former player Jason Kelce was seen getting beers early in the day, and GM Howie Roseman took a beer can to the forehead – causing a bleed.

Other fans were seen on their laptops while along the route, pretending to be at work. Police on duty tried re-creating the Eagles’ patented ‘tush push’ play.

The Eagles defeated the Chiefs 40-22 to win their second Super Bowl title.
