A student reunited with his military sister, who surprised him at graduation after being deployed overseas for a year.
Footage shared by Milwaukee Lutheran High School shows Kalen Barksdale standing on stage when a member of staff announces there is an issue locating his diploma.
“Sometimes the most important deliveries take a little longer than expected, especially when they’re coming from so far away,” the speaker said, before his sister walked out in her military uniform with the diploma.
A stunned Kalen and his sister then hugged in an emotional reunion.
