Stefon Diggs has pleaded not guilty to the alleged assault of his personal chef just days after playing in the Super Bowl.
The 32-year-old New England Patriots star appeared in front of a judge in Dedham District Court on Friday over allegations that he slapped and attempted to choke his chef during a dispute over pay on December 2, 2025.
After entering the not-guilty plea, Mitchell Schuster, who is part of Diggs’ legal team, told reporters: ‘We’re confident that after the facts and evidence are reviewed in this case, he will be completely exonerated.’
As Diggs arrived in court on Friday, there was no sign of girlfriend Cardi B as rumors continue to swirl over a potential break-up.
The NFL star made his court appearance less than a week after playing in New England’s miserable defeat at Super Bowl LX.
The Seattle Seahawks ran out comfortable 29-13 winners in Santa Clara, with Diggs only recording three catches for 37 yards in the loss.
