These awards honour the contributions of local businesses, schools, churches, community groups, and individuals
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council has launched the Spirit of Christmas Awards to honour local businesses, schools, churches, community groups, and individuals who go above and beyond during the festive season.
The award categories are
- Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree Award Best festive entertainment in a business or community setting
- Reason for the Season Award Most festive school, church or community facility
- The Making an Entrance Award Best dressed entrance or shop front
- Traditional Christmas Award Outstanding acts of goodwill during the festive season
- Light Up Award Best Christmas display or the best-lit town/village in the Borough
- Special Category – Get Fit and Festive Award Best festive initiative, display or event promoting health and fitness
Nominations will close at 4pm on Monday 9 December 2024.
Awards will be presented at an awards ceremony in Antrim Castle Gardens on Wednesday 18 December 2024.
