Seven U.S. service members have been killed in the war with Iran, the U.S. military said.

The service member, who was not publicly identified, died Saturday night, U.S. Central Command said in a statement Sunday.

“The service member was seriously wounded at the scene of an attack on U.S. troops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1,” the statement said.
