Discover how selling internationally can fast-track your business success.

The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is joining up with Invest Northern Ireland to deliver a free in-person event in Belfast. This event is an opportunity for local businesses to discover how selling internationally can fast-track their business success.

What you’ll learn

  • Understand how selling internationally can open the door to business growth
  • Make sense of the practical support on offer for exporters from both Invest Northern Ireland and the UK Government
  • Learn about the benefits for local businesses of recent Free Trade Agreements that the UK has signed with key international markets
  • Hear from local business people about how they achieved exporting success

Event details

  • Date Wednesday 5 November 2025
  • Time 9am – 11.30am
  • Location Invest Northern Ireland, Bedford Square, 1 Bedford Street, Belfast, BT2 7ES

This event is for businesses that have either never sold overseas, but have the potential to do so, or are looking to expand into new international markets.

Delegates will learn about the depth of export support on offer in Northern Ireland and overseas. They will also hear about how Free Trade Agreements have significantly improved trading conditions in a wide range of markets where there is a high demand for UK goods and services.

A panel of Northern Ireland Export Champions will discuss their export journeys, experiences, challenges and successes.

It is also a great opportunity to network with other businesses and export support organisations.

Register for the Selling internationally – a game changer for business growth event.
