Self-Employment for Persons with Disabilities Programme

Eligibility criteria

The Self-Employment for Persons with Disabilities Programme is open to disabled people, including those with visible, invisible, sensory, learning, mental health, or neurodivergent conditions, who wish to start their own business.

This online course is open to any person with a disability who lives on the island of Ireland, so applications are encouraged from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

Who is not eligible?

The course is not suitable for someone who has already started their own business or simply wants to learn about entrepreneurship.

Additional information

The course will begin on Wednesday 17 September 2025, and will take place online each Wednesday from 11am to 1pm for 12 weeks.

AIB is fully funding this course, so it is free for all successful applicants.
