The death of a six-year-old girl in West Calder, West Lothian, is being treated as murder.
The bodies of 36-year-old Mark Gordon and his daughter Hope were discovered after officers forced entry to the property in Harburn Drive on Monday afternoon.
Police said Mr Gordon’s death was still being treated as unexplained, pending a post-mortem examination which will take place in due course.
A spokesperson said there was nothing to suggest that anyone else was involved or there was any risk to the public.
