Day one of Amazon Prime Day is already delivering some of the strongest discounts on Dyson’s hair tools. While the brand seldom offers major price cuts outside key retail events, Amazon has taken £100 off both the Dyson airwrap i.d. and the Dyson supersonic nural, bringing two of its most in-demand styling tools down to more accessible prices.

The airwrap i.d. is Dyson’s flagship multi-styler, designed to adapt heat and airflow through app-connected technology so it better suits your individual hair type. The supersonic nural focuses more on hair health, using smart sensors to regulate heat and reduce unnecessary scalp exposure. Both devices performed strongly in our testing and feature among Indybest’s top-rated premium hair tools.

Deals of this scale don’t come around often, so it’s no surprise both models are already attracting plenty of attention. If you’ve been eyeing salon-style curls and volume with the airwrap, or quicker drying times and a smoother finish with the supersonic nural, Prime Day is currently offering one of the best chances this year to pick either up for less. That said, Dyson discounts tend to sell out quickly, so if you’ve got your eye on something don’t wait too long.

Prime Day is one of the few times you’ll find a sizeable discount on the Dyson airwrap i.d., and this year’s offer is particularly tempting. Amazon has sliced £100 off the styling tool, bringing the price below £380. Not only is this the airwrap i.d.’s lowest price in 2026, but it’s actually 5 per cent cheaper than the best price it’s been over the past 12 months.

When beauty writer Elena Chabo tested the airwrap i.d. on her naturally curly 3B/3C hair, she found herself impressed by far more than just the curling barrels. In particular, she praised the round volumising brush, saying in her Dyson airwrap i.d. review that it was “incredibly speedy and effective” and dried her hair “quickly into soft curls”. Meanwhile, the wide-tooth comb attachment left her “blown away by how easily this worked its way through [her] hair”, describing it as a “painless” way to stretch and dry textured hair.

The diffuser was another highlight. Elena found that the combination of Dyson’s airflow and diffuser design delivered “undeniable results”, adding that it brought out “volume and bounce” while keeping frizz at bay. Even the fast dryer attachment impressed, drying hair “miraculously fast” during testing.

Her overall verdict was that the airwrap i.d. “excels in almost every task” and can “halve your styling time and minimise damage to hair”. At full price, that’s a costly proposition. With more than £100 off for Prime Day, however, it’s a far easier investment to justify if you’ve been considering upgrading your styling routine.

Dyson supersonic nural hair dryer, red velvet/gold: Was £399.99, now £299.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

This Prime Day, Amazon has knocked the supersonic nural dryer down to £299.99, which is the lowest price I’ve seen over the past year.

Having tested the dryer for more than a year, hair expert Daisy Lester said in her Dyson supersonic nural review that it had “relegated all other tools to the cupboard” and praised its ability to leave hair looking “shinier” and feeling “far softer” than when using other dryers. Impressively, it also cut around seven minutes from her usual styling routine, drying her hair in roughly 10 minutes.

I also put the nural through its paces as part of our best hair dryers round-up and was particularly impressed by the flyaway attachment, which left my hair looking noticeably smoother and healthier after styling. While some of the dryer’s automatic features took a little getting used to, I found it reassuring that the technology was constantly working behind the scenes to help protect against unnecessary heat damage.

At full price, £399.99 is a serious investment for any hair dryer. With Prime Day knocking a quarter off the cost, however, the supersonic nural becomes a far more tempting proposition, particularly if you’ve been dealing with a tired, low-power dryer.
