The fiancee of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is celebrating after the star inked a two-year contract extension making him the best-paid running back in NFL history.
Anna Congdon, Barkley’s partner, took to social media after the deal was signed and sealed to keep the reigning Offensive Player of the Year in Philadelphia.
She commented under Barkley’s post announcing the extension with the caption, ‘Let Jesus cook!’
In addition, she shared an image of Barkley and his agent, Edward Berry of CAA, to her Instagram Story.
Barkley and Congdon have been dating since the two met while they were attending Penn State University in 2017.
The 28-year-old Barkley announced his engagement to Congdon just before Super Bowl LIX in February – revealing that they had actually become engaged months prior.

The Eagles announced Barkley’s deal worth $41.2million over two years, of which $36m is guaranteed and has an additional $15million in incentives.
It comes less than a year after Barkley swapped the New York Giants for the Eagles in free agency last offseason – when he signed a three-year, $37.75m deal.
Barkley went on to be one of the most dominant players in the league in 2024 – concluding with his first ever Super Bowl title.
He led the league in rushing with 2,005 yards on 345 carries – with 13 rushing touchdowns just adding to his success.
Combined with his playoff numbers, Barkley passed Terrell Davis to set a new single-season rushing yards record at 2,504 yards.
Barkley and Congdon share two children – daughter Jada Clare, 6, and son Saquon Jr, 2 – who all greeted the Eagles star on the field after the Super Bowl had concluded.
