San Francisco quarterback Brock Purdy was seen crying on the sidelines after the 49ers were brutally dumped out of the playoffs.

The Niners were dismantled by the Seattle Seahawks in a crushing 41-6 defeat in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday night and Purdy took it badly.

Footage shared on social media showed a devastated Purdy soaking in the defeat on the sidelines. He appeared to be sobbing openly as the reality of the loss set in.

A 49ers coach was seen leaning in to console the distraught signal-caller, wrapping an arm around him as he wept.

The clip, circulating on X, captured the raw heartbreak of the young quarterback.

It was a nightmare evening for the 49ers, who had entered the postseason as heavy favorites to lift the Lombardi Trophy.

But those Super Bowl dreams were extinguished in humiliating fashion at Lumen Field.

The Seahawks defense stifled Purdy all night, sacking him twice and forcing two costly turnovers.

San Francisco’s high-powered offense failed to find the end zone a single time, managing just two field goals in a toothless display.

Purdy finished the night completing just 15 of 27 passes for 140 yards, throwing one interception and losing a fumble before being benched.

By the fourth quarter, with the scoreline reading 41-6 and the game long since decided, the emotional toll became too much for the young star.

It marks a bitter end to a campaign where San Francisco had looked like the team to beat in the NFC.

Now, instead of preparing for a Championship game, Purdy and the 49ers face a long, painful offseason of questions.

Shortly after the loss, footage of their pre-game tunnel walk-out showed the 49ers roster dancing and hyping themselves up before taking to Lumen Field.

However, their celebrations proved short-lived as Rashid Shaheed returned the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown just 13 seconds into the game.

The stunning touchdown kickstarted the Seahawks drubbing of the 49ers and sparked the furious online reaction centered around their walk-out.

Taking to X, one fan shared the clip and wrote: ‘All this just to come out and kick 2 field goals’.
