NFL fans are roasting Denver Broncos star cornerback Patrick Surtain II for his ‘salty’ prediction for Super Bowl LX.

Surtain and the Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs at the hands of the New England Patriots in this season’s AFC Championship game.

New England outlasted Denver as the elements dominated the second half and led to a 10-7 victory to reach the franchise’s 12th Super Bowl.

At the Pro Bowl Games, Surtain was asked for his prediction on who would come home with the Lombardi Trophy for the 2025 season.

‘Umm… 35-7, Seattle,’ Surtain replied.

Fans were quick to jump on the Alabama product, with many suggesting he was still hurt over the defeat to the Patriots.

Another said, ‘Oh he is salty.’ One comment read, ‘Damn he’s still upset i see.’

‘Enjoy Cancun Pat! Here’s to hoping that you never play in a Super Bowl,’ another comment read.

Surtain is coming off a Pro Bowl season and was named to the All-Pro second-team for 2025.

The year prior, he won the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award and earned his second career first-team All-Pro nod.
